Just about everyone that starts the HCG diet is nervous. I was nervous and everyone I know was nervous to start. It can be a scary thing to change your life, even if it’s for the better.
So here are some tips to help ease your fears and to ultimately complete the diet safely.
1. Prepare ahead!
I can’t stress this enough. Before starting make sure you have read everything and understand how the diet works. Have your food journal ready to go, weigh yourself and have you food items purchased. Also make sure to weigh out a couple meals and freeze them ahead of time. A little preparation goes a long way.
2. Realize that this is only for a few short weeks.
The HCG diet is done in phases and even though the diet seems really restrictive, it’s only for a few short weeks. You can do almost anything for a few short weeks and the HCG diet is no exception.
3. Know your end goal (Find your “why”).
By knowing your end goal and focusing on it you’ll be focused and it will make it much easier to do this diet every day until you reach your goal. So whether it’s to lose 60 pounds, fit into those old jeans, or to just feel better, know your goal and write it down. This way you can see it everyday and know why you are doing what you are doing.
4. Realize how much better your life will be after the diet
Once you finish the diet you won’t believe how easy it all was and how attainable your goal was. You’ll feel better, look better and ultimately be a lot healthier. By visualizing how much better your future will be you will let nothing stand in your way and you will attain your goal.
5. Get started!
This is probably the biggest. Lots of people try to put it off until the “perfect” time comes. But the perfect time will never come. Just get started and do the best you can. If you can get started and commit you will hit your goal before the “perfect” time comes. Don’t worry about being perfect, just worry about getting going!
